Lumseer Privacy Policy

Lumseer ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect information when you use the Lumseer mobile app and related services. By using Lumseer, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Lumseer processes images, videos, and related facial data only to complete editing, analysis, or generation tasks that you actively request. Please upload only content that you have the legal right to use and for which you have obtained any required authorization.

1. Information We Process

1. Account and identity information

When you register or sign in, we may process your username, password verification information, authentication tokens, server-side user ID, and account status. When you are not signed in or use guest features, the app may use a device identifier to maintain a session and distinguish device data. After sign-in, your account user ID is the primary identifier used to associate media and tasks.

2. Media you upload or select

Images, videos, and public access URLs that you choose to upload are used to complete your requested tasks. To support face analysis and face swapping, we may also retain associated face IDs, face crops, bounding-box coordinates, analysis results, masks, face mappings, and generation parameters.

3. Tasks, media, and results

We process media-library records, generation-task status, result URLs, browsing or generation history, and error logs so that we can display results, resume tasks, and provide deletion features. Media that you choose to publish or share may be visible to other users; private media is made available only according to account or device permissions.

4. Device and technical information

For authentication, network requests, troubleshooting, and security, we may receive a device identifier, app version, operating-system version, request time, IP address, and necessary diagnostic logs. We do not read contacts, messages, call records, or unrelated files on your device for advertising purposes.

5. Advertising information

The app may display Google AdMob or rewarded ads. Advertising providers may process advertising identifiers, device information, and ad-interaction information under their own privacy policies. You can manage personalized-ad settings through your system settings or options provided by the relevant service.

3. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. To complete features that you actively request, we may provide necessary data to the following types of service providers:

Service providers may process data only as needed to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations. When you publish or share media, or use a feature that requires a publicly accessible URL, the related content may be accessible to others. We may also disclose necessary information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud and abuse.

4. Images and Face Data

Images, videos, and facial information in them may be sensitive content. We process this data only when you actively select a relevant feature, and we do not use it for unrelated identity recognition or sell it to advertisers. You are responsible for ensuring that people shown in uploaded content have been informed and have provided any required consent, and for the legality of uploaded content and generated results.

5. Permissions

Lumseer may request camera access and system media permissions needed to access the images or videos you select. These permissions are used to capture, select, and upload content that you actively use, and are not used for continuous background collection. You can disable permissions in system settings, but some features may then be unavailable.

6. Retention, Cache, and Deletion

We retain relevant data for as long as needed to provide features, process tasks, maintain security, and resolve disputes. Results, media, face data, and history are retained according to account features and your actions; when retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize the data. Local app cache can be removed through system app-data controls or the in-app Clear Cache feature.

You can sign out, clear cache, or delete your account in the app settings. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify account-linked media, face data, and task records, except for data that must be retained by law, necessary records of already-public content, or short-term remnants in backup systems that may remain for a reasonable period.

7. Information Security

We use access controls, authentication tokens, encrypted transmission, and necessary log monitoring to protect information. Internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please protect your account information and do not upload unnecessary sensitive content.

8. Children’s Privacy

Lumseer is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has used the service without consent, please contact us at the email below; after verification, we will take appropriate deletion measures.

9. International Processing

To provide storage, AI processing, advertising, and technical services, your information may be processed on servers outside your country or region. We use reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures required by applicable law to protect it.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy when features, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will publish the updated version and effective date in the app or on the relevant page. Material changes may require you to confirm the updated Policy again.
